I filled the bottom of the castle ruins with
plaster to add some stability.
Getting Draco to fit the way shown on the box
was a task, but heating his legs with a hair dryer
and pining him in place solved the problem.
I filled all seams with 2 part epoxy putty and
sculpted the details back in with a wet toothpick.
I paint all my models with "Apple Barrel" acrylics
or similar from Walmart.
I used a children's book, on the movie,
which had a lot of color photos to paint Draco
like the movie version.
Bowen was painted in blacks, as that is the color
of the outfit he wears in the film as opposed
to the more colorful box art version.
The base had various stones picked out in
different shades of gray, and model railroad
"Static grass" as added between some rocks
to represent moss.
