'55 Bubble Dome Batmobile

Modeled after the Batmobile that first appeared in Detective Comics #223 (Sept. 1955)
 and was seen in comics until the "new Look" of Batman that started in early 60's.

I made the main body, Bat-Head, Bat fin, and dome signal out of resin.  I had to make my own molds for these parts.  The dome is made from one of those gumball machine bubbles that you would get those cheap prizes in.  The wheels and axles are from an old toy car.

This Batmobile is said to be the least appealling of all the Batmobiles,
but because of its oddities, its my favorite.
